I’m back home and it feels so good!!! The food in camp sucks, but apart from that, we’re still having quite an easy time because our squad is not fully formed yet. As of now, there’s only 8 of us (5 kickass chicks and 3 bald mischevious boys). For a month, we will see new trainees joining us every Wednesday, and we will stop taking intakes either at the end of that period, or when we hit 30 people.
For the past three days, we have been practicing our marching and PT drills, cleaning our bunk, going for daily water parades, arranging our stuff and figuring out what essentials we need to bring the next time we book in, and getting to know each other better. The rules are really strict in there. They govern even what we wear after training hours, how we arrange our belongings in the locker, in what order our shoes should be under our beds, which direction our pillow should face, etc. I’m adapting well, however, my only lament is that we are not allowed to bring junk food in.
Tuesday being a public holiday, we have a long weekend to get our hair cut and settle other stuff before heading back to camp for another three days. Yay. Camp really tires me out though. It makes me extremely hungry too. Now after every meal, it takes about an hour for me to feel hunger pangs again.
Zzz. Bedtime.
